Darfur Youth Learning Circles Reopen After Community Repair Drive

Through the Darfur learning circles project, youth volunteers repaired damaged classrooms, replaced desks, and distributed study kits so children affected by displacement could return to structured learning.

The biggest benefit for families has been safe and reliable weekend classes in literacy and mathematics, reducing learning loss and giving parents confidence that children have a protected place to study.

Peer mentoring now helps older students support younger learners, while the next phase adds teacher coaching and dedicated study support for girls preparing for national exams.
